No. 7 Brownfield wins 13th straight game
BROWNFIELD — Gabi Fields scored 24 points and No. 7 Brownfield clinched a share of the District 3-3A title Tuesday night with an 81-19 rout of Lamesa.

Tia Johnson and Deja Johnson added 15 and 14 points, respectively, for Brownfield (21-1, 11-0), which has won 13 games in a row. The Lady Cubs will try to win district outright Friday night at Littlefield, which had one district loss going into its game Tuesday at Friona.
Emma Garcia scored 12 points for Lamesa (12-13, 4-7).
Lubbock-Cooper 81, Monterey 38
WOODROW — Calyn Dallas and Avrie Douglas scored 18 and 17 points, respectively, and No. 8 Lubbock-Cooper beat Monterey in District 4-5A play for its ninth victory in a row.
Catalina Cortez and Hannah Zientek scored 14 points apiece for Cooper (22-3, 9-0), whose last loss was Jan. 2 to No. 10 Amarillo. The Lady Pirates will try to complete an unbeaten run through district play at 6 p.m. Friday at Cornonado.
Mia Trevino scored 16 points for Monterey (5-17, 3-6).

Natalie Sadler poured in 27 points, Mackenzie Garrison was good for 18 and top-ranked Southcrest Christian won handily at No. 9 All Saints Episcopal.
Shaeden Marr added 10 points for Southcrest (14-1), and Reese Rogers and Abigail Barrett scored four apiece for All Saints (5-5, 2-3).
